Egypt's veteran keeper El-Hadary extends contract at Wadi Degla

Egypt's veteran keeper Essam El-Hadary has renewed his contract with Wadi Degla for the next two years, the Egyptian Premier League club announced on Saturday.
"El-Hadary will remain with Wadi Degla until the end of the 2018/2019 season after signing a two-year contract extension," the club said in a statement via its official Facebook page.
El-Hadary attracted attention with a series of outstanding performances with Wadi Degla through the past season, earning a deserved return for the Egyptian national team.
The 43-year-old keeper was recalled by coach Hector Cuper last February for Egypt's qualifier against Nigeria for the first time in more than two years.
El-Hadary, who joined Degla in 2015 from Ismaily, is considered as one of the best-ever keepers in Egyptian and African history after guiding his nation to three Nations Cup titles in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
The former Ahly, Zamalek, and FC Sion (Switzerland) goalie was given the African Keeper of the Year Award in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
