Egyptian Football Association have denied that the Egyptian Premiere league new season 2011/2012 starting date will be postponed following the tournament's outfit Wadi Degla's bus crash on Friday. “These are all rumors. The league will start on its earlier fixed date on 14 October,” Egyptian Football Association (EFA) spokesman, Azmy Megahed, told the EFA official website. Wadi Degla's bus crashed Friday while the team was returning from Ismailia City on the Suez Canal after playing a friendly with Ismaily. The club's Belgian coach Walter Meeuws is now in the hospital with a broken arm, while the team' dressing room attendant is dead. The other technical staff members and players are all unharmed.
