Egypt Cup Championship to take place on 6 September
EFA are considering Ahly's participation in the African Champions League

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) board have announced that the remaining games of the 2010-2011 Egypt Cup Championship will be played on 6 September, beginning with the postponed game from round 32 between Ahly and Kima Aswan.
Round 16 of the championship will be played on 20 and 21 September, continuing until the end of the tournament that will be end on 21 October.
The EFA also revealed that the 2011-2012 Egyptian Premier League season is to kick off on 14 October.
EFA spokesman, Azmy Megahed, said, “The EFA will consider Ahly's participation in the African Champions League as they are the only side who defend Egypt's reputation in the continent.”
The Egypt Cup was to be cancelled this season because all football activities in the country came to a halt during the 25 January revolution.
