Bruce was aware I was moving, says Ghana's Gyan

Sunderland striker, Asamoah Gyan, has said he is disappointed by statements made by team boss, Steve Bruce, that he won't have a place in the Premier League team's squad when his loan spell in the United Arab Emirates finishes.
The 25-year old striker left the Black Cats this summer, moving to the Middle East on a money-spinning season-long loan agreement.
Bruce expressed frustration at Gyan's decision to join Al-Ain on a one-year loan contract and said he doubted the Ghanaian will play for Sunderland again.
"I've heard comments he's made since I left which I'm disappointed about," Gyan was quoted as saying on Sky Sports on Thursday, adding "Because of that I've not called him since I moved here.”
"Steve Bruce was aware I was moving. Everybody at the club gave consent to the move because of the money involved,” said the African player of the year.
UAE side Al-Ain has reportedly paid £6million (9.3 m dollars) to secure the striker's services and are paying him around £200,000-a-week (more than 300 thousand dollars).
