Wydad aim to benefit from home advantage against Ahly
Morocco's Wydad Casablanca are looking to make the most of home support as they host Ahly in the CAF Champions League

Wydad Casablanca will be seeking to make the most of home advantage when they host Egyptian giants Ahly in a crucial CAF Champions League encounter on Sunday, coach Michel Decastel said.
Wydad are on top of Group Bwith six points, ahead of second-placed Esperance of Tunisia on goal difference. Ahly lie third on five points with two matches to go.
Moroccan outfit Wydad fought hard to hold six-time African champions Ahly to a 3-3 draw in Cairo in July. They are eyeing a better outcome in Sunday's home fixture.
“The players are aware that they are shouldering a big responsibility,” Swiss tactician Decastel, who coached Ahly's Cairo rivals Zamalek four years ago, told Moroccan paper El Botola on Friday.
“We will strongly take advantage of the home support to pressure our opponents.
“The match will not be easy, given the huge experience of Ahly in African competitions. But we have no option but to win.”
Wydad came from two goals down to hold Esperance to a thrilling 2-2 draw in their previous game while Ahly failed to break down Mouloudia Alger, who are at the bottom of the group, in a dour goalless draw.
“The mistakes we made against Esperance will not be repeated,” Decastel added.
