Bradley promises Egypt glory at 2014 World Cup
The American candidate for coach of the Egyptian national football team, Bob Bradley, aims to deliver new glories with the Pharaohs

Former USA coach Bob Bradley has promised to lead Egypt to the 2014 world cup finals in Brazil were he to fill the vacant position with the Pharaohs.
“I can lead Egypt to qualify for the coming World Cup finals,” Bradley told CNN Arabic.
“The Egyptian team is well qualified to be a dangerous opponent, but it only lacks some organisation on the field. The Egyptian player is a talented one unlike the American who depends mainly on his fitness,” he added.
The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) are currently choosing between three candidates (Colombian Fancisco Maturana, Serbian Zoran Filipović and Bradley) in its quest for a replacement for Hassan Shehata, who left his position last June after failing to qualify for the 2012 African Cup of Nations.
“There wasn't any dispute over the financial dues in the negotiations with the EFA officials,” explained Bradley who confirmed that he has been monitoring the Egyptian team since meeting them in the 2009 Confederations Cup.
Egypt, champion of the past three Nation Cups (2006, 2008 and 2010), will not be able to defend their title in the 2012 Gabon and Equatorial Guinea edition, as they are currently at the bottom of Group G with two points, putting them behind South Africa (eight), Niger (six) and Sierra Leone (five) at the halfway stage.
The 53-year-old Bradley left his post with the USA last July after leading the side to 43 wins, 25 losses and 12 draws in just over four years.
Bradley's achievements as the American coach includes leading the team to the 2009 Confederations Cup final - after defeating their Egyptian counterparts 3-0 in the group stage - and also to the last-16 at last year's World Cup in South Africa.
