American manager Bob Bradley will arrive in Cairo this week to begin talks over the vacant Egypt job, according to former USA goalkeeping coach Zaki Abdul-Fattah. Bradley has been shortlisted by the Egyptian FA as one of three candidates to take the hot seat, following the departure of Hassan Shehata in June. Abdul-Fattah, an Egyptian who worked with Bradley for five years as the US team goalkeeping coach, revealed that the 53-year-old is very interested in the Pharaohs job. “I will accompany Bradley to Cairo on Tuesday to talk to officials from the Egyptian FA,” the former Ghazl Mahalla keeper said. “He is very excited with the prospect of managing the Egypt national team and was happy when the FA approached him.” Bradley guided USA to the 2010 World Cup round of 16 as well as the final of the FIFA Confederations Cup a year earlier. He was in charge of the US team when they thrashed Egypt 3-0 in South Africa.
