Funeral of Egypt's legendary actress Hind Rustom takes place today
Mourners say goodbye to the 'Marilyn Monroe of the East', star of over 70 Arabic-language films, who passed away on Monday

The funeral of the legendary film actress Hind Rostom took place midday Tuesday at Saida Zeinab Mosque in Cairo.
Rustom, who was known as ' the Marilyn Monroe of the East' died of a heart attack on Monday at the age of 82.
Rostom gained her fame playing romantic and seductive roles in Egyptian films, including those by Youssef Chanine and Atef El Tayeb , some of the country's most famous directors.
Rustom starred in over 70 Arabic-language movies before retiring from acting in 1979.
