Michel Platini has lost his appeal at the Court to Arbitration for Sport to lift a 90-day ban by FIFA. CAS says its three-man panel of judges was unanimous in ruling against the FIFA presidential hopeful. CAS says the 90-day ban ''does not cause irreparable harm to Michel Platini at this point in time.'' Still, CAS ordered the FIFA ethics committee not to extend Platini's provisional ban in January. Platini's full case is heard by the FIFA ethics comittee in Zurich on Friday. The case centers on FIFA President Sepp Blatter's approval of $2 million of FIFA money that Platini got in 2011 as backdated salary.
