Ivory Coast, Tunisia and South Africa secured a place in the African World Cup qualifiers group stage after defeating Liberia, Mauritania and Angola respectively in the second-leg on Tuesday. Striker Giovanni Sio scored twice in the 16th and 35th minutes to help Ivory Coast claim a 3-0 home win over Liberia in Abidjan. Jean Michel Seri completed the rout four minutes past the hour mark. Ivory Coast had won the first-leg 1-0 on Friday Tunisia claimed a narrow 2-1 win over minnows Mauritania in Rades to go through to the final round with a 4-2 win on aggregate. Siam Ben Youssef opened the scoring for the hosts six minutes after the break before Saad Bguir added the second six minutes from time. Mauritania midfielder Moulaye Khalil scored the consolation for his side in the 71st minute. An own goal from Angola's midfielder Manucho Dinis gave South Africa an easy 1-0 win in Durban.
