Samuel Eto'o said on Sunday that Italian giants Inter Milan should maintain their unity to win trophies next season. The Cameroon ace believes Inter's unity was the main source of the team's success during the past few seasons. “In recent seasons we've shown that we bring home trophies because we are so united. Therefore we have to stick together this term and things will go well.” Eto'o was quoted as saying by Football Italia. Inter won the treble - Italian Serie A, Italian Cup and the European Champions League - in the 2009/2010 season under former Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho. They could not replicate such success last season but still managed to win the domestic Super Cup, the Club World Cup and the Italian Cup. “Our first objective is the Italian Super Cup in Beijing on August 6 against Milan,” the prolific striker added. Eto'o also reiterated his commitment to Inter despite consistent reports linking him with several clubs, including English big-spending side Manchester City. ‘'From the moment I pulled on the Inter jersey for the first time, I knew it was the start of a great love story. I hope that in these years I have won my place in the hearts of the fans,” he concluded.
