Ministry of interior official: presence of snipers after 28 January is still under judicial investigation
Minister's statement did not confirm Tahrir snipers weren't linked to the ministry of interior, as investigations continue

The ministry of interior's official spokesperson stated on Saturday that Minister of Interior Mansour El-Eissawy's statement revealed only that the police had been absent from the Tahrir Square since 28 January, and nothing more.
He added that the minister's statement has been manipulated by some writers who have claimed that the statement was a confirmation that snipers present afterwards were not linked to the ministry.
According to him, the presence of snipers after 28 January is still under judicial investigation.
