El-Merreikh considers complaining to FIFA about El-Hadary
The dispute between Egypt's goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary and Sudanese club El-Merreikh reaches a tipping point as the latter will complain to FIFA

The board of Sudanese club El-Merreikh has decided to lodge a complaint with FIFA against the club's Egyptian goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary after he returned to his country without permission.
According to its official newspaper on Saturday, El-Merreikh will ask the international governing body of football, FIFA, to impose its supposed sanctions on the Pharaohs' star for not respecting his contract with the club.
Despite signing a three-year contract with the Sudanese giants last January, the former Ahly and Zamalek player recently announced that he will leave El-Merreikh this summer, revealing that English second-division team, Leicester City, and several other clubs are interested in his services.
El-Merreikh's president Gamal El-Waly asked the player in a meeting last Monday to either disclose the offers he received or to keep quiet about his status with the club, but the player, who was heavily criticised for his declarations, left the club suddenly for his homeland without telling the board or the technical staff.
“We will not negotiate with any club until he returns from Cairo and apologises for what he did,” El-Waly told a TV program on Friday.
The 38-year-old was recently linked with Cairo giants Zamalek after former Egypt coach, Hassan Shehata, was named as the Whites' coach, but it was reported on Saturday that some board members are against regaining the players' services.
