Zamalek coach Jesualdo Ferreira has blamed the players' fatigue, citing the Aswan stadium's poor condition as responsible for a dip in his players' form during the goalless draw with Aswan. The Egyptian Premier League title holders, Zamalek, failed to overcome a resilient Aswan to play out a scoreless away draw Sunday. "The players acted slowly during the game due to the ground poor condition," Ferreira told the post game's press conference. "We were in need of the victory as it would be a good push for the team ahead of El-Entag El-Harby game," "The players' fatigue also affected their performance in the game alongside the long time traveling to Aswan and the intense humidity," Ferreira added. Last season's double champions, Zamalek lost their first points of the campaign following the draw with the newly-promoted outfit, after beating Wadi Degla 2-0 in the league opener.
