Odemwingie back to Nigeria after Siasia make up
Peter Odemwingie is expected to get back to Nigeria after a meeting with coach Samson Siasia to settle their issues

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the rift between star striker Peter Odemwingie and Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia has been settled and that he will re-join the team very soon.
“It's now history; Siasia and Osaze have settled their little tiff and we are happy about that. Nigeria can now call on her very best legs in subsequent games without any exception,” chairman of NFF Technical Committee, Barrister Chris Green was quoted as saying on website kickoff.com.
The West Brom striker has not featured for his national team since March when he left the training camp without permission and later accused his coach, Siasia, on his Twitter page of insensitivity.
Despite serving a two-match ban, Odemwingie has been asked by Siasia to apologise to the rest of the team before he can be called up.
The top officials in Nigerian football have expressed their concerns and asked both parties to make up for the good of the team.
A meeting took place in London and the issue was settled.
“No problems again, we are now on the same page and things can move ahead in the best interest of Nigerian football. I like to say here that Osaze is one player I like very much due to his enthusiasm and total commitment to the cause on-field,” Siasia said.
“But, to reach higher heights as a great player and person, it is also important to observe rules and regulations and respect teammates and other persons off-field. Everything is now under control and Osaze is back in the squad,” he added.
Odemwingie, who will turn 30 on 15 July, is set to join Nigeria's camp for a friendly game against Ghana on 9 August, ahead of their 2012 Nations Cup qualifier away to Madagascar on 3 September.
