Mohamed Ibrahim, head of the Nuclear Safety Centre,says Egypt's second Anchass nuclear reactor started to operate without the approval of the centre.
In an SMS to Ahram Online, Ibrahim said: “The head of the Nuclear Safety Centre hereby states that he is not responsible for the operation of Anchass's second nuclear reactor without applying the rules of nuclear safety."
“The Atomic Energy Commission head made a managerial decision to make it work,” Ibrahim added.
