Tunisia Belgian coach George Leekens announced on Tuesday his provisional 26-man squad for the upcoming Nations Cup that will start in Equatorial Guinea on 17 January.
The list saw the absence of Al-Sailiya's striker Issam Jemaa for the first time 2006.
The 30-year-old, who was a regular member of Tunisia's squad in the past five editions, has fallen out of favour with Leekens, who opted to select Fakhreddine Ben Youssef and Saber Khelifa instead of him.
Uncapped striker Yohan Touzghar was named in the roster following his fine displays with French outfit Lens.
Tunisia, who won the African title in 2004 on home soil, were drawn in Group B alongside Zambia, DR Congo and Cap Verde.
