No Milan talks with Ghana star Essien, says agent Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien's agent quashes rumours of a move to AC Milan next summer, as the Ghanaian extends his stay for two years and confirms he's happy at W London
Michael Essien extended his stay with English Premier League giants, Chelsea, for two years, which will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2015. The Ghana midfielder has been reportedly linked with a summer move to AC Milan, but his agent, Fabien Piveteau, has shrugged off such reports linking his client with the Serie A giants or any other clubs. "Nothing is true," Essien's agent commented on the midfielder's move to AC Milan, adding “I have not had any contact either with AC Milan or any other clubs, because everyone knows that Chelsea is happy with the player and Michael is happy at Chelsea,” The representative of the 28-year-old Essien revealed that the midfielder is eager to stay at the west London side for at least another three years. "He is well in London and intends to stay there for the next three years." The Chelsea Player of the Year in 2007 season has been a key performer for the Blues this season after seeing last year's campaign disrupted by injury.
