Chelsea and Ghana midfielder Michael Essien seems close to Stamford Bridge's exit door after a six-year spell at the London-based club. The widely spread English newspaper Daily Mail revealed that Bayern Munich have stepped up the interest in luring the services of the 28-year old tireless midfielder who is now seeking a new adventure. Real Madrid, Juventus and AC Milan have reportedly started talk with Essien who might consider a move especially with the arrival of new coach Andre Villas-Boas with a new approach at the Blues. However, the Bavarian giants are in pole position to get him in order to rebuilt their squad after a disastrous season that saw them finish third of the table 10 points behind champions Dortmund.
