The Israeli Ministry of Tourism announced it will receive more 90,000 tourists to celebrate Christmas in the cities of Bethlehem and Nazareth to visit all the holy locations in Jerusalem. Israeli newspaper Ma'ariv reported the Israeli Ministry of Tourism is coordinating with Israeli airport authorities to set a plan to facilitate the tourism influx increase into Israel. The newspaper said the one third of the world's Christians visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Church of the Nativity and the Mount of Olives in Bethlehem. The Israeli Minister of Tourism Stas Misezhnikov said Christian tourists are considered one of the major factors to enhance tourism in Israel.
