Minister of Transport: Security forces responsible for trains

CAIRO: Dr. Galal Mustafa al-Sayyed, Minister of Transport, said that sit-ins that block train traffic are the responsibility of the army and police, as they are responsible for securing trains.
He added that the ministry is not responsible for the security of trains.
His first meeting since taking over the ministry was with the Minister of Interior, before meeting with the vice minister for transport police.
He pointed out that his policy in dealing with protests depends on negotiations.
