The Egyptian Democratic Alliance is scheduled to begin negotiating with Al-Wafd Party about the party re-joining the alliance, said the general coordinator of Democratic Alliance, Wahed Abdul Majeed. Abdul Majeed said the alliance decided Al-Wafd Party should re-join the alliance to coordinate all affairs between the alliance and the party in the parliament. He added Al-Wafd Party had a great role in forming the alliance. “It is normal if Al-Wafd returns to its position inside the alliance after the end of the parliamentary elections,” Abdel Majeed added. He also said Al- Wafd did not leave the alliance for political reasons but as a result of the running elections, as the head of Al-Wafd said.
