Israeli official in Egypt to discuss prisoner swap

CAIRO: An Israeli military official arrived at Cairo International Airport by private plane from Tel Aviv on Sunday. The official will hold discussions with Egyptian officials regarding the second part of the prisoner swap between Egypt and Israel.
The sources refused to give the Israeli official's name.
The officials are also expected to discuss recent developments and how to execute the second stage of the prisoner swap, according to sources. The discussion will also include Egyptian-Israeli cooperation to support security on the borders and prevent illegal crossing of the border.
The meeting is considered a prelude for the arrival of the new Israeli Ambassador to Egypt, Yaakov Amitai, who is expected to arrive tomorrow.
