Ahmed Abdoul Aziz and Ali Gallab, heads of the Cairo Appeals Court decided to send shells found on Mohamed Mahmoud to the downtown Cairo Attorney to send to a criminal lab for examinations, and comparisons to bullets found inside martyrs bodies. The judges examined the evidence, which included 12 shells, CDs, and testimonies of witnesses and the injured. Abdoul Aziz confirmed that he reviewed the investigation file. He also said that investigation would begin after the end of prosecutors' investigations. The Mohamed Mahmoud clashes begin on November 19 after security forces tried to end a sit-in in Tahrir Square that demanded the withdrawal of the military council from power. Security forces used tear gas and live ammunition to disperse protesters.
