QENA, Egypt: The movement of trains was halted Saturday morning due to renewed clashes between two families in Qena governorate in Upper Egypt. The clashes between the el-Atamna and Abdel Kader families broke out near the railway station in Qena's Deshna district. Police forces immediately responded to the scene to end the clashes. There are no reports of injuries yet. The clashes first erupted during the four-day Islamic feast of Eid al-Adha in early November, when children from both families were playing and quarreled. The parents and relatives of both families intervened and the matter escalated. A gunfight broke out between the two families, leading to a total of 11 injures and deaths from the two sides.
