CAIRO: U.S. Senator John Kerry arrived in Cairo on a private jet late yesterday from Muscat, the capital of Oman, for a visit to Egypt that will last several days. Kerry will with a number of senior officials in Egypt to discuss ways of promoting bilateral relations between the two United States and Egypt, especially after Egypt's January uprising and the last developments in the region after the ‘Arab Spring.' Kerry was greeted upon arrival at Cairo International Airport by the U.S. Ambassador to Egypt and a number of members of the U.S. Embassy.
