The Chairman of Egyptian-Arab Union Party, Omar el-Mokhtar Sameeda said the party received judicial verdicts proving manipulation of the vote count in the second constituency in Fayoum and first constituency in Alexandria. The party discovered 28,000 votes were invalidated by double-voting. Sameeda said that the party ran in Port Said governorate, but the party list gained only 6,000 votes. He said the reason for the small numbers of votes was that the party's members were from Southern Port Said, meaning outside the city. Sameeda added that party submitted electoral appeals against the Supreme Electoral Committee concerning the announcement of the results and the vote count in Fayoum and Alexandria. He said the list would run in the second round of the parliamentary elections in Sharqia governorate on two lists, in North Sharqia and South Sharqia. The party's list will run in Ismailia, Beheira, Giza, and Aswan. Sameeda said the electoral programs of the party's candidates are trying to find out solutions for residents' problems. Sameeda pointed the party is intensifying its electoral tours around the constituencies in the second round which starts on Wednesday December 14.
