A multi-national force left Egyptian territories on Wednesday December 7, heading to Madrid from Sinai. The force is related to Colombia and composed of 40 individuals. They left Egypt on Spanish airlines. It is important to mention there peacekeeping troops in Sinai composed of 1,700 soldiers in addition to 15 U.S. civil monitors. The troops started work in 1982, according to the Camp David peace treaty concluded between Egypt and Israel in 1979.
