Public committees in Tahrir Square allowed a number of cars to pass through the middle of square without clashes with the demonstrators, whose numbers strongly decreased in Tahrir. The protestors demanded the control of entrances into Tahrir, especially since there are many thugs around the square. A number of national figures and political activists held a meeting with the protestors in Tahrir, demanding them to open the square for traffic while keeping their strike to prevent any potential chaos between demonstrators and vendors and shop owners.
