The administrative court in Alexandria suspended the results of the People's Assembly elections in Alexandria's third electoral district. A candidate filed a lawsuit calling the head of Supreme Electoral Committee to stop the announcement of the results because they contained violations. The administrative court said that two previous court rulings mandated the transfer of a candidate from a farmer's seats to a professional seat. However, the candidate ran for election on a farmer's seats, breaking the court orders. The results were therefore suspended and the runoff for the district canceled.
