CAIRO: Demonstrators in front of Egypt's cabinet headquarters expressed their disapproval of both the newly appointed Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri and his leading government. Member of the Central Committee of April 6 Youth Movement in Mansoura, Ihsan Sultan, said Egypt's ruling military council does not have the power to appoint a new Prime Minister. Sultan objected the continuation of Fayza Aboul Naga's post as Minister of International Cooperation since she had that post since 2001. He called for the military to step down immediately and hand power over to an elected civilian presidential council. Member of the April 6 Youth Movement from Giza, Aly Ahmed, said al-Ganzouri is not fit to take over as Prime Minister for two reasons; firstly, he is over 78 years old and secondly, he is assuming presidency over the Council of Ministers under former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's former regime. April 6 is also against the creation of a new ministry dedicated to the affairs of those who injured and killed protestors during the revolution. The protesters announced they will determine their final position regarding entering the council of ministers headquarters since some oppose it. The protestors declared they will form a human barrier to prevent anyone from entering it.
