CAIRO: Calm prevails at the Egyptian Cabinet headquarters despite the protestors' continued sit-in, which today marks the third consecutive day of demonstrations. The protestors are demanding the resignation of recently appointed Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri. The Peoples' Committees continue to operate near the demonstration, protecting the protest from riotous behavior and thugs. There are also still field hospitals in operation that are tending to injured protestors and Living Committees are distributing meals to demonstrators. In addition, some protesting youth took up an initiative to clean the streets to restore the civility of their peaceful demonstrations.
