CAIRO: General Secretariat of the National Council Mamdouh Hamza today said that he submitted an apology for failure to participate in the Civil Advisory Council. He claims that he refuses the number of members on the Council. “The large numbers will make effective decision making difficult with the ruling military council,” Hamza said. “I requested that the members vote on the term lengths,” he continued, adding that “no one vote for this term except me.” He also claims that he demanded the ruling council limit the number of members to the Council to 25. “The organization settled on 60 names, which I believe will lead to difficulty in reaching consensus and working with the military council,” he added.
