CAIRO: Problems such as monitoring judges arriving late in the parliamentary elections' first phase will be tackled in the second and third phases, said Egyptian minister of local development Mohamed Attia. Regarding the ballot counting for individuals seats inside the sub-committees, Attia said this matter requires amendments to the Law of Elections. He added this matter will be discussed if the head of the Supreme Electoral Committee demanded so because he is the only responsible person for the election process. The great turnout for the parliamentary elections' first phase proves Egyptians are trustworthy in attaining democracy, said Attia, who expects turnout in the coming two phases to be much greater. As for forming a new government, Prime Minister designate Kamal el-Ganzouri is holding consultations with certain figures to take ministerial posts.
