Egypt's General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) announced on Monday the launch a new electronic platform for financial examination services, marking a significant step in Egypt's digital transformation efforts. The platform allows investors to submit and track applications digitally through a unified interface, providing real-time monitoring and instant notifications on updates. The platform integrates relevant departments, reducing examination time, enhancing transparency, improving communication with investors, and reflecting the Authority's commitment to adopting advanced technological solutions. GAFI emphasised that the new digital service is part of a broader series of institutional and regulatory reforms aimed at strengthening Egypt's economic competitiveness, boosting investor confidence, and attracting more domestic and foreign investments, with ongoing follow-up to ensure positive impact on the business community.
