Gold rose 6.2% in November

CAIRO: The price of gold rose 6.2 percent during November 2011, 21-carats at the price of 293.1 EGP. Meanwhile it was 220.4 EGP in November 2010, with a difference of increase of 33 percent.
A monthly report of Information and Decision Support Center said one pound of gold reached 2,331.2 EGP in November 2011, while it was 2,207 EGP in October. The rise in price of gold increases at an estimate of 5.6 percent monthly.
Meanwhile gold reached 1,763.2 EGP in November 2011, with an annual increase of 32.2 percent.
A mass of 18-carat is at a record of 251.1 EGP in November 2011, while it was 236.4 EGP in October with a monthly increase of 6.3 percent.
It was recorded at 188.9 in November 2011, reaching an annual increase of 33 percent.
