CAIRO: The National Assembly for Change urged the Egyptian cabinet and Interior Ministry to return the tear gas shipment that arrived in Ain Sokhna's Adabeya port in Suez and not to use it against peaceful protesters. The assembly expressed its concerns regarding the violent attacks against Tahrir Square protesters. It also considered Tuesday's clashes in Tahrir Square as an exposed scheme to end Tahrir's sit-ins. The assembly blamed the government for the clashes due to peaceful protesters' safety being the authority's responsibility. The assembly issued a statement urging protesters to stick with peaceful behaviour in their sit-ins no matter what the cost.
