The operations room at the Ministry of the Interior recorded several election violations in the nine governorates hosting the first round of elections. This included an argument between a group from the Muslim Brotherhood and Samia Abd el-Sadek for creating a board with the names of candidates except for her. Security forces managed to break up the altercation and el-Sadek filed a report on the incident. At the De La Salle school, the judge monitoring polling stations 285, 286, 573, and 574 for women walked out of the polling booth. Another Judge was assigned to monitor that station. Other judges did not go to polling booths in Ain Shams, Matareya, Sahel, Helwan, and Hadaek el-Qobba. Ballot cards were not delivered to the same stations. Fayoum had no problems, save for two polling stations where Judges did not arrive. Alexandria had problems at one polling station, where a judge placed an empty ballot card into a voting box. In Asyut a group of voters did not find their names registered, so they blocked a road in protest. Security forces also managed to resolve the situation.
