CAIRO: Around 6,200 Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) associated with 39 banks working in Egypt will be in operation during the parliamentary elections, reported Osama al-Sayed, the general manager of NCM Africa, a company specializing in the manufacture and import of ATMs to Egypt. “No ATMs were sabotaged or robbed during the peak of last week's uprising in Tahrir Square and Alexandria,” al-Sayed said. “Three-hundred ATMs were sabotaged during the January 25 Revolution and 10 percent were replaced with new machines.”
