CAIRO: A number of coalitions and political movements in Tahrir Square announced their participation in upcoming parliamentary elections, stressing that voting in the elections is a national duty that cannot be disregarded. The movements said, in a statement signed by more than 20 coalitions and political movements, protestors in Tahrir Square will go to polling stations on November 28 to vote in the parliamentary elections and go back to the square to continue protesting until their demands are met. The demonstrators denounced some groups' accusations they are staging a protest in Tahrir Square to prevent elections and disrupt democratic life. Demonstrators said the sit-in in Tahrir is to establish the principles of democracy they fought for.
