Hundreds join Friday demonstrations after Thursday calm

Hundreds of protestors are gathering in Tahrir Square to participate in the Friday of Retrieving Revolution, where members of Al-Wasat Party were arriving from different governorates to Abdel Moneim Reyad Square. They called to cancel the Emergency Law and the end Egypt's ruling military council.
There are youths securing the entrance into Tahrir Square with security barricades to strop cars from entering. Dozens of Salafis started gathering to participate in the demonstration and they assured the Salafi front in the governorates of Gharbeya,
Mansoura and Kafr el-Sheikh. There are six platforms in Tahrir Square, as well as there are many ambulance cars at all Tahrir entrances.
The U.S. embassy in Cairo made a statement today warning all Americans in Egypt to avoid going to Tahrir Square on Friday September 30 during the demonstrations.
The statement stressed Americans in Egypt to monitor newscasts and be aware areas where demonstrations are taking place. They also advised Americans tourists in Cairo to gather information about the hotels they are in and the program of their visit.
There is a state of calm in Tahrir earlier today; Tahrir Square was empty of protestors even though they were there Thursday September 29 until midnight.
The protesters departed the square and there were few youths, not exceeding 50 people. They discussed the demands in the square and decided not to remain in the square.
There are many street vendors in Tahrir Square and the streets surrounding it, where there was a clear absence of police, security or military forces.
Dozens of protestors gathered last night in Tahrir Square, where they arrived from many squares to streets downtown and Talaat Harb Square.
They headed to Maspiro building to encourage people to participate in the Friday million-man demonstrations of Retrieving Revolution.
There are many political parties and movements, including the April 6 Youth Movement and Independent Youths. They were calling to cleanse the Ministries of Interior, Judiciary and Media.
They also called for application of a system of complete percentage list in next parliamentary elections.
There was a statement made in Tahrir Square, signed by the Independent Labor Union and Movements, including Tahrir Square protestors, independent protestors, Fagr el-Hurreya, Rescuing the Revolution front and governorates youths' unions. They called to apply the Law of Perfidy, to stop remnants from practicing political work for 10 years, to cancel the Emergency Law, and to determine a schedule to transition power from Egypt's ruling military council to a voted civil authority.
The demands also included a cancelation of all military trials, releasing all the arrested protestors, and cleansing all governmental media and judiciary institutions.
Members of the Protestors Movement's made a statement calling all Egyptians to come to participate in Friday of Retrieving Revolution in Tahrir Square, where they will discuss large projects to refresh the economy and eliminate unemployment.
The April 6 Youths Movement's distributed statements, including a clear demand to cancel the application of the Emergency law, according to the constitutional amendments. They assured that as long as there is no People's Assembly, an Emergency Law cannot be applied.
