CAIRO: Egyptian Prime Minister and President of the Caretaker Government Essam Sharaf held a meeting on Thursday with the Deputy Prime Minister Ali el-Selmy and the rest of the cabinet members to finish outstanding files prior to forming the new government. The meeting involved the ministers of tourism, irrigation, finance, justice, international cooperation, media and education. Absent from the meeting, for the second consecutive day, was minister of interior Mansour el-Issawy. A source in the council of ministries justified el-Issawy's absence with his preoccupation with the current developments in Tahrir Square and squares all across Egyptian governorates as he coordinates with different security directors.
