CAIRO: Egypt swore in 14 new ministers today before the head of the country's ruling military council, Hussein Tantawi. Tantawi held a meeting with all 27 ministers, including Prime Minister Essam Sharaf. The Cabinet announced earlier on its Facebook page that Sharaf had "completed his consultations to form a new government." This is the second ministerial reshuffle since the February resignation of Egypt's former president, Hosni Mubarak, following 18 days of popular uprising.
