CAIRO: Egyptian presidential candidate Hazem Abu Ismail announced to the protesters in Tahrir Square they will hear important news today November 24. He noted there is no difference between chairman of Egypt's ruling military council Hussein Tantawi and the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Samy Anan. The hopeful candidate highlighted the importance of the sit-in in Tahrir until all the protestors' demands are achieved, especially about forming a national presidential council. He also pointed out the necessity of participating in the next parliamentary elections that will lead to an elected government to represent Egypt within 40 days. Abu Ismail called for judiciary committees to monitor the Egyptian Ministries of Interior and Information, which he described as "claws of the authority." He refused the criticism of sects and parties of those who did not go to Tahrir.
