CAIRO: The Egyptian Zenhoum Mortuary today issued a report regarding the death of Egyptian protestor Ahmed Mahmoud Mohammad who perished during clashes yesterday with Egyptian security forces in Tahrir Square. Mohammad was injured in the clashes and then admitted to the hospital at 8:05 p.m. Doctors tried to revive his heart and lungs for 20 minutes, but he was pronounced dead at 8:30 p.m., according to the report. Mohammad suffered a bullet wound in the chest and there are also abrasions on his body. The injury toll from the clashes, which remain ongoing this morning, has risen to at least 750 persons, according to Egyptian Ministry of Health Spokesperson Mohamed el-Sherbini. The Ministry of the Interior also arrested at least 43 protestors.
