CAIRO: Many demonstrators in Tahrir Square prepared to continue their strike and open-ended sit-in tonight by making preparations to sleep in the central garden of the Square. They also re-raised banners criticizing Egyptian Interior Minister Mansour el-Issawy and his assistants in the ministry. Protestors led chants like, “Down With Military Rule,” “No Parties, No Brotherhood, The Revolution Youth in the Square” and “The People Want to Overthrow the Regime.” The public committees also managed to prevent two thugs from entering the Square.
