The Egyptian Ministry of Education organized trips for primary students to Tahrir Square Wednesday. The general leader of Student Unions, Gamal el-Arabi, said it is important for primary students to visit Tahrir Square, a symbol of the January 25 Revolution. “From this place thousands of Egyptians gathered to ask for their rights and freedoms,” he said. “From Tahrir Square many Egyptian youth died for Egypt.” Arabi said the trip is good for the children, particularly because they live in governorates far from Cairo. The student groups that visited Tahrir Wednesday are the first in the Ministry's program. Another two groups will visit in the coming two weeks.
