Thousands of foreign and Egyptian tourists visited the archeological site of the Pyramids of Giza on Friday November 11. There were no features of religious ceremonies in the area as was expected by Masonic Jews. Head of the Pyramid Area Ali al-Asfar said there were many visits to the site on Friday November 11, especially since Egyptian families come from other governorates to spend their day off at touristic places. Al-Asfar told Youm7 the Pyramids' entrances are closed, and that all visits or ceremonies scheduled on Friday were cancelled. Military police intensified its presence to secure the areas on Friday and Saturday November 11 and 12. General Manager of the Archeological Area of Giza, Osama al-Shiny, told Youm7 there were many visits at the pyramids despite the closing of the Great Pyramids. He added the Supreme Council of Antiquities would strongly confront hold off any Jewish or Masonic ceremonies at the pyramids.
