CAIRO: The Salafi al-Nour Party accused remnants of Egypt's formerly ruling National Democratic Party of targeting al-Nour's electoral campaign in different Egyptian governorates. In a statement issued today, al-Nour Party said members of the dissolved NDP attacked the electoral campaigns of parliamentary candidates in Fayoum, south of Cairo. This is not the first time that remnants of the NDP targeted the electoral campaigns or even the activities of the party, the statement added. The party said that NDP members move freely to manipulate the security and stability of the country.
