CAIRO: Egyptian stock market indexes continued to increase during the midday trading session on Wednesday November 9 due to Arab purchases. After purchasing shares in the early morning trading session, foreign and Egyptian investors sold shares. Most stock market indexes were up by the midday sessions on Wednesday, the main index EGX30 increased by 0.36 percent, EGX20 by 0.16 percent, medium and small company index EGX70 by 0.25 percent while EGX100 declined by 0.06 percent. Companies with increasing shares today include SODEC by 0.57 percent, Hermes by 2.07 percent, Orascom for Construction by 0.71 percent, Commercial International Bank by 1.01 percent, Swedish Electric by 0.24 percent and General Giza for Contracting by 3.7 percent.
